The Carey Academy has returned from the World Championships in London with 4 World Titles!
Along with 4 World titles the dancers achieved 12 top 5 placing’s making the The Carey Academy is the most successful Irish dancing school in the World!
Congratulations to Mitchell Hodges, age 18, for winning his first World title after being runner-up for the past two years. The other World titles were won by the U16 Girls Ceili team, U16 Girls Figure team and Senior Ladies figure team!
This brings our total of World titles to 23 since we were formed in 2007 – making us one of the most successful schools in England.
20 solo dancers, 5 ceili teams and 2 figures competed in London, everyone danced their best and we had some great results:-
